Getting to the Stadium 


Fans can take a free shuttle bus to FMG Stadium Waikato. The freeBUSITbuses leave from Hood St outside the Knox St car park. They leave approximately every 10 minutes from an hour before kick-off and travel via Victoria St, Ulster St and Mill St tothestadium. Passengers will be picked up at any official bus stop along the way. Buses depart directly after the final whistle from Mill St near Seddon Rd.

Fan Trail / Walking Routes

Wondering how to get to FMG Stadium Waikato? Follow our dedicated Fan Trails and enjoy a uniquely Waikato experience as you walk to the Stadium.

Fan Trails will be marked out by themed signage panels showcasing the region, created by primary school children around the Waikato. At the conclusion of each of the trails, you will be entertained by a range of performance acts, including cultural performances before you enter the stadium to watch the game! 

City Centre – FMG Stadium Waikato (Approximately 20mins)

Fans are encouraged to follow the route from Hood St, heading along Victoria St, Bryce Stand onto Tristram St.

Claudelands – FMG Stadium Waikato (Approximately 20mins)

Fans are encouraged to follow the route from Claudelands, heading along Boundary Rd, across the bridge and onto Mill St.

Finding the right Gate

Access to the ground is via your gate number which is printed on your ticket.

- Gate 1 & 4c: Tristram Street
- Gate 2 & 3: Seddon Road
- Gate 4, 4a & 4b: Willoughby Street
